Whoa, thread resurrection. Fortunately (unfortunately?) this topic is always relevant .

Lets see, the biggest problem I have at the moment is all the rust on the body. Currently being kind of repaired with bondo and fibergalss, just to get it looking decent until I can afford a cleaner shell (or whole car, who knows.)

Fuel pump screws drilled out and into gas tank. I asked my friend to pull out my old fuel pump while I went and bought a new one, but they were really rusted and he drilled through them into the tank.

Engine electrical problems, causing high idle and low power. I replaced the resistors on the injectors, had the injectors cleaned, replaced all manifold gaskets and vacuum lines but haven't been able to see if it fixed it yet (see #2)

Normal interior problems (cracked plastic, dirty carpet, etc), clock doesn't work

Parents who refuse to accept the fact that the car is a piece of **** (body wise)

There's absolutely nothing wrong with mine.. zero, nada zilch! Well, I wouldn't say wrong.. just hidden features.. (I don't want to **** her off and have her flood out on me..or come up with some other feature I wasn't aware of)

It's like your wife or girlfriend asking you "does this outfit make me look fat??"

CA I love this thread. Only true 7 lovers post here

Things I've fixed:
Bad Tps,Bad Alternatorx2, batteryx2(electrical problems fried the battery), spark plug wires, spark plugs, all intercooler tubing(stock TMIC), pre-rewired gas pump, grounding electrical issues, starting issues(that costed me $300) for them to look at guess at what they thought the problem was), brakes, MAF,

Still wrong:
still spurts when boosting(only hitting 6psi), battery drains randomly ...sometimes after parking for as little as 1 min(dont know why), water temp fuel level dummy lights interior lights cruise control speedometer DONT WORK!!, sunroof works with a lot of help, exhaust leak that i swear stems from the wastegate, and brights make all the electronic things dim .

how long I've had this 7???

7 MONTHS!

I keep trying to convince other people(and probably myself) shes great and worth every bit or elbow grease..

Hmmm... Where do I start? Honestly, my car is pissing me off so much I want to sell it but its not as bad as most people.

- Exhaust leak, somewhere around the front of the car. RB exhaust installed recently, so it has to be a cracked exhaust manifold.

- After the car warms up, I go for a drive, come to a stop light and the engine starts to randomly fluctuate. At this point after listening to the exhaust leak I get so pissed off at my car that I start reving at a stop light for no reason, because I get so fed up. Thats not all for idle problems. After I park the car from a drive and come back after say an hour the car won't idle, I have to keep my foot on the gas. I'm pretty sure this whole paragraph could be eliminated by replacing the water thermo pellet.

- Randomly some things start to **** out, such as switching the rear wiper on and it doesn't work, sometimes the passenger window won't go down.
