I found this hanging loose while putting a starter on...I know where the connector goes, but I don't know where the black box get's bolted down to. Anybody know where it goes?.....this is on a 91 TII.

Its a ground, someone correct me if im wrong.... I dont know where that one exactly goes, I got one like that hanging somewhere on my car also, I would assume attach it on the engine... Am I wrong?

 

I'm hoping that's all it is..and that I don't have to bolt it to a specific place. I just finished dropping a new engine and I'm in the process of hooking everything up..so far everything is matching up well.

Thanx...looking through the workshop manual..it looks like it get's bolted to the thin plate that is attached to the rear/top of the engine, by the transmission. It does'nt say anything about it though, just has a pic that looks alot like this part.

 

Most I have seen are bolted to the clutch slave on the lower bolt I don't know if it matters as long as it is a ground.
