Fan Shroud Remobal

how do I take off the fan/fan shroud, i need to look at my fan clutch.

Remove your air intake funnel (one bolt). Undo the four bolts that hold the shroud on. Wrestle the thing out of the car. I can't remeber if it is easier to remove the fan first.

Those fan bolts are usually on there pretty darn tight. I'd use lots of PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench, though I prefer PB. Also using a flare nut wrench helps.

Don't get any lubricants on the fan belts of the surfaces that they are moved by, or all you will get is stippage. And all you need is a 10mm wrench and a small hammer to get the fan clutch off, just simply put the closed end of the wrench on the nut and take the hammer and give it a couple of love taps and it should break loose, and to get the shroud off, all you need is a 10mm socket and an extension and ratchet, and there are 4 10mm bolts that hold it on.
