Whats a Turbo II hood worth?
My friends got a TII hood he wants to sell. Whats the going rate on them? One more question, how would he ship this thing? In a big *** box? He's in Mass if anyone that wants one is local.

$100! Anything over that is for suckers. I think the N/A hood looks better, that is what I have on my car, plus it's more aerodynamic.
Back to your question, I have seen them go for $300 but I have seen good condition ones going for about $100. It all depends how nice of a guy your friend is and if a prospective buyer is a sucker.

i have an aluminum t2 hood, and i would rather have an aluminum na hood, but that would require a FMIC, which would be out of my price range, even if i could get $300 for my t2 hood. but i wouldnt go from an alum hood to a heavy *** steel one.

mine was claimed to be AL when I bought it. then I got home, lifted it myself. I know now that it's definately Al. It's kind of dinged up though, so I was debating getting another when I get it painted.

Just a question, what is the big deal with people putting turbo hoods on N/A cars? Do they just want more drag or is it that they want people to think that they have a turbo so that they can get challenged and spanked at stoplights?
I converted from N/A to turbo and one of the few things I kept was the hood. FMICs are expensive, but I like the look and I like that people think that I have an N/A, at least from behind. No offence to you N/A guys, but it's more of sleeper that way.

2) It's lighter than a steel NA hood
3) A 20B-REW won't fit under an NA hood.
