What's the Truth (put down that weapon...) about premix?

I can see MANY questions have NO answer,
About synth oils, premix, about BAC, about what does the ECU does at throttle off or coasting...
I've ask almost all of these... and have no clear answer as some are ready to kill their familly for pros and some other to call the army for the cons...

Maybe that's the fun of RE

And yes this has been discussed before many times but no clear answer went in light.

Dude, you need to read more and ask less questions.

Wow, I'm amazed how many people don't get this, and amused by the smartass comments that make the poster look pretty silly. This is basic EFI stuff. When the throttle is completely closed, the injectors DO NOT FIRE unless the revs drop below 1500rpm. Anyone who doesn't understand or believe this shouldn't be posting anything to do with EFI. Pretty much every EFI system ever fitted to road cars has had this feature. You can clearly feel the injectors turning on and off, particularly if the TPS is not set properly.

Based on the fact that there are already 10,000 threads on this topic and the fact that we just had another one last week, I'm closing this thread. There's even an archived topic that covers this in great detail.
