I have an 89 Convertible and a Haynes manual. I also have an electrical box of some sort behind the drivers seat. It says FC3S on it and is made by Mitsubishi. What is it?

Also, there is a clear plastic 1/2 in tube on each side of the car under the cover behind the seats. They come out of the floor and go out through the back. I can't see where they hitch. What are they?

I searched, but I don't know what question to ask.

can you get a picture of the box. the tubes sound like they may be drains? im not sure the box may be some sort of audio box. is the box hooked up to anything

 

the box is a computer for your convertible roof and the clear plastic tubes are drains for the soft top, baiscally it collects the water and routes it out to the ground

 

I know on the S4's, theres also the amplifier for the headrest speakers back there... i dont know for certain on the S5's tho

 

Yup, there is a headrest speaker amplifier back there in the S5 as well...But I think it is by Pioneer.

 

theres also the cruise control module.

 

The computer for the top is inside the motor assembly (can't remember which side)

 

Cruise control unit is under the dash on drivers side.

 

It should be the amp for the headrest speakers, my buddies s5 has it.

 

not on convertibles... on convertibles it is on the floor next to the ECU
