No I can't. Go to the engine management section and check out my newest question.

Kent, I'm probably not going to pull the auto tranny until I rebuild the turbo motor. Then I'll install a manual tranny at the same time I put the engine in.

As per the S4 FSM page 7B-19, standard stall speed is 2000-2300rpm.

There's a simple method to check stall speed on auto transmission, and this applies to all of them.

Crank the handbrake to 3/4 to max or step on the brakes not quite full brake pressure.
Put the transmission in D(rive), and steady increase the RPM's.
Typical stall speeds are around 2kRPM.
The stall speed is the RPM speed in which the car wants to take off, even with the brakes on.
You can tell then the car wants to move versus run under the stall speed where it just sits there.

WARNING, do not do this for too long!
Doing this procedure for any length of time with burn the ATF in the transmission, so keep the test time to a minimum!

Sorry, I assumed you knew this.

I know how to do it, it just doesn't work out when the Haltech fuel maps aren't set up for the car to idle at any decent RPM.

(yeah, I got a haltech on an automatic RX-7..............for now)
