Im from Iowa and looking to purchase this. I believe you know my cousin JD (go to school with him) He should say something to you at school on Monday. Don't part this out just yet. I'm looking to purchase the entire car.

Somewhere in the $1500-2000 range... you could get a touch more by parting it.

oh, i will definitly take the Rear wiper motor if it is the same as an 88' GXL motor...( if it isn't someone just say so...) if you decide to part it.

I'm interested, but not for 2k. There's a lot of body work, the front suspension you said is messed up, and I'm suspicious of the frame. I'm in Iowa City or Des Moines, depending on the day. Let me know. BLibin@mchsi.com

You are not going to get over $1,000 for it.
Correction...you're lucky to get over $1,000 from some crazy who wants it that bad.

If you go through all the trouble of parting it out yourself, you might make several hundred dollars, but it's not worth it.

Look in the For Sale / Wanted section on this forum.
Too much low-baller sellers for NA parts end up jacking the prices way down.

For a turbo, it's a little bit different, but I still think the prices are too low.

The car is only worth someone who wants the parts, which means another NA owner...

Wait... what exactly is the car in question? It looks like a TII to me, just the engine and driveline alone is worth at least $1k... plus the mirrors, seats, spoiler, etc.

I know in my area that would go for at least $1500 as a parts car.

Oops, I wasn't looking at the pic - my bad.
100k miles is a lot of miles for a used 13BT.
In my book, this would require a rebuild, and it's only useful for a core.
Unless there's detailed records of pristine upkeep, I would basically write the engine off.
I still wouldn't pay more than $1,000 for it.
We used to get non-running Turbo II's for $300 - $500.
I'm assuming the clutch is not salvagable.
Trans with that much miles cannot be in "perfect" shape unless recent rebuild?
So you end up with the "back half" of the drivetrain...
