Long block with tranny, if you can provide accurate compression numbers over 105psi, I would say $750-900. Long block engine alone, I would say $500-800. Depends on buyer, shipping, etc.

What if the engine was modified and you had documented compression numbers in the 115-120 range? Also a dyno sheet showing 175 RWHP? Then what would the engine be worth?

Modified engines don't usually go for more than stock engines. The buyer has no way of knowing if the work is quality. However, With dyno sheets and compression tests, some on may taake it for more than that. Dependant on tranny condition, I would probably pay 900-1000. If I had it. Others may pay more or less, my $.02

Good to know.

I'm looking at selling my Engine in the next couple of months... I have a winter project idea that is dying to get started.

keep us posted, I might be in the market for one in a couple of months. As long as you have compression test and engine modification work documents, you should be good. A dyno sheet is valued among buyers.
