whats to keep me from using NA gauges on my TII?

this is the only reverse gauge set i like. all the ones for the tii have the stupid glowing middle part that looks really ugly.

i have an aftermarket boost gauge, so is it possible to get an N/A cluster and use that?

I am sure you can just re-wire all the things. I have an N/a cluster if you want to buy one. It has less than 120k miles on it.

I know there is a write-up on switching turbo to n/a-
icemark has posted it a billion times. Do a search for
"gauge swap" and it should pop up.

If the only thing different is the boost gauge, and you have an aftermarket one. Why don't you just slip the gauge faces over your turbo ones? Thats what I would do.

Don't NA guages have a different redline, and speedo? If so, then if you were to just slip the faces over the TII guages, nothing would line up right.

n/a has a different tach. not sure if it just goes 1000k more or if it was realigned to accomodate the higher redline. (aka if the first 8000 all line up and then 9k is just extra fun?)

the speedometer goes to 160 in both

if i could rewire the boost gauge to read volts it'd be great, but quite frankly i dont have the electronic expertise to do so.

The 89+ NAs have a different tach (9000RPM redline). The S4 NAs and TIIs have the same tach.

As far as I know, they make S5 TII indiglo faces. Check eBay.
