Unhappy whats going on? My Fuse keeps blowing

my room fuse keeps blowing... ive removed the stereo, clock, ecu, gauge cluster, the switches around the gauge cluster, the lights on the doors,and the map light on the rear view mirror. ill try to put in a new fuse, and itll spark and blow it. whats wrong here?

"Room" feeds the following on an S4:

clock
ignition key reminder, CPU warning circuit
interior & spot lights, door switches
cargo room light, hatchback door switches
theft deterrent control unit
radio

So unless you (or a PO) have wired anything extra in, it's one of the above...

Or the main feed wire chaffing against ground somewhere...

how important is the Room Fuse? what if i juss leave it with out any fuse. is that big of a deal?

As long as you realize that none of the above will be operational, no big deal at all. Shouldn't affect performance in the least...

ic... my clock still works, door switches still work. what about power to the ecu? of course it still gets power right? is it possible to run with out an ecu? no right?

Does your radio still work? Did you blow the main fuse under the hood? Just curious.

yeh i kno. what are you trying to say? no one said anything about CPU.

Main Fuse is still good. um im not sure the radio works i have no speakers. the radio lights up. but the LCD screen doesnt show up any numbers.

anyways

the ignition key reminder is that little box on the back of the ignition switch with the 2 wires going to it correct?

if so what wires go where on that little piece...we just got a new tumbler since ours were all jacked up and dont know which wire goes where...or where they even solder up too..

Yes

i dont have any wires connected to that box atm...

im not at the car atm, but if i can remember its 2 wires that are with the bundle of the rest of the ignition switch that goes to that box...

i need to know where those 2 wires hook up onto the IKR<--lol new acronym i just made up

or could i just cap off those 2 wires and not worry about the key reminder -_-??
