whats the differnce
Ok I have two s4's and one is a auto but has 4 lugnuts and a backseat and my 88 gxl has 5 lugnuts 5 speed and no backseat but is there something I should know about the differnce in lugnuts like anything at all. thank you

well I would like to know if there is any performance differnce rear end and driveshaft someone told me when i first started getting into these cars that the four lugs were no good and if I wanted true performance I would need to get a five lug and I dont know why they look almons the same under the hood except the 87 auto hase i think is is called a egr solined on the right strut tower and the 88 gxl dose not.

Not really.
If they are both non turbos (which from your description, it sounds like you have a base or Luxury or SE and a GXL) then they are basicly the same... the only difference is the gearing (auto trannys have a 3.9 rear end gearing, while manuals have a 4.1 rear end) and the S4 GXL will have a LSD.
Of course the GXL will have the better brakes as well.
And you could have found all this info in the sticky thread about options and standard features at the top of this section.
