i would say that "custom" is an exhaust system that a shop builds for your car, like you take the car down to a shope and you pick it up with exhasut on it. aftermarket is made for your car but you can just bolt it up. i prefer aftermarket just casue you can take it apart if you want to sell it or just remove the DP to get the turbo off...

if this is a n/a car dont go larger then 2.5" if it is turbo I would still say 2.5" untill u are up to 400hp.. then 3"

IMO I perfer aftermarket bolt on just cause it is easier to do in the driveway and easier to sell if u change yoru mind..

I bought a true dual racing beat exhaust and cant wait to install it

Your friends are retarded and ignorant. I can't tell you what, outside of looks, is the difference between "custom" and aftermarket because I have no idea what your custom exhaust would be like. I much prefer bolt exhausts for the standard swap. If you are looking to get a unique pre-silencer or have some strange way of running your exhaust then custom is the only way to go. If you want a different exhaust that flows good, fits great, looks good then pick a good aftermarket product. Don't listen to your friends.
