whats the differance in trannys

i need to know the differances in gears if there are any between the s4 N/A tranny and the s5 N/A tranny. does any one know?and which one would be better? and dont tell me TII i already know that.

S/5 has longer 5th gear.

S/4 5th = .711
S/5 5th = .697

They are interchangeable on both cars if you would want to swap one. To swap in a T2 you would have to swap over a lot of other things from the T2 drive train depending on what route you go.

The crossmembers are also different. You must use an S4 crossmember for an S4 tranny, and an S5 crossmember for an S5 tranny, no matter what series the car is.

The GTUs had the shortest 5th at ~0.75:1
