whats the cause of blown engine?

Would boosting while the engine is sold make the engine blow? I would like to know the causes of a blown engine? this is coming from an engine that was recently rebuilded?

cold engines usually tend to boost more so it could have overboosted with insufficient fuel for that boost level. also it is a good idea to allow the seals to fully warm up before beating on them.

running the engine hard when cold is always bad, but a stock engine on stock boost shouldnt blow due to just being cold. in fact, theres a throttle body device that prevents you from truly going wide open throttle until the engine is warmed up.

first of all: is your ride stock? what type of 2nd gen?
it very much depends on your setup... but basically guys are right, boostin' cold engines is not good for their lifespan!

its common sense to warm up any car b4 u drive hard right? another cause is over heating. apex seals are like the heat's bitch. bad injectors could blow engine too. GG
