whats the best way to remove the rear pads in a 91 n/a?

whats the best way to remove the rear pads in a 91 n/a?

when i tried to remove it the suspension geometry got in the way for the bottom bolt, whats the best way to change the pads?

The way I did it was like this...
1. loosen lugs
2.jack car up and remove wheel and take cap of brake fluid container
3.remove the 2 mounting bolts that are on the back side of the caliper
4. slide the whole assembly up and away from the disk
5. remove pads and keep the little clip
6. use pliars or something similar and turn the caliper thing that looks kinda like an '8' until it is all the way back into the caliper
7. put pads in along with clip
8. hold pads in place while putting the 2 bolts back on
9. press brake pedal until you feel them grab, press like 2-3 times.
10. re cap the brake fluid container
11. put wheel back on and remove jack and do the other side.


I did this like 2 weeks ago, that's what i remember about it. that little '8' shaped thing was the hardest part
