Turbo? Non-Turbo? Best thing that could be done to either is probably some suspension stuff along with some rims and tires.

Remove the A/C, emissions, and power steering. That will give you a few hp, then you can move on to the better stuff. Turbo swap, supercharger, nitrous, ETC.

It reduces drag on the engine. It takes power to turn that pump. Removing it removes the drag.

weight reduction. Lose weight and free up horsepower. This goes hand in hand with removing ac ps and emissions as well.

Emissions removal and weight reduction. Its cheap. And less weight is just as good as more horsepower.

Not here in Washington...You only use the A/C for two weeks out of the year And with no P/S it SUCKS... to me it's not worth the little HP gain if you drive on the street...Its a pain...

People who have power steering and think what removing it from their car would feel like often get the wrong impressions. Due to the fact their thinking it would have the feel of when a power steering unit goes out. But this isnt the case. Cause in removal on the power steering unit your no longer having to force fluid through a dead pump. It turns actually quite easy. And VERY responsive.

Best over all upgrade is a FULL exhaust.
This will yield the MOST hp of any bolt on mod for the car. What kind of exhaust did you put on it?

There are many things you can do to it to gain more smaller amounts of HP.

Removing the a/c smog and Power sterring systems will help also in two ways: weight losses and small HP gains.

BTW I am 5' 8" and weigh 124lbs. I can move around in a parking lot with no power steering at all. You all that say its hard have issues.

You forgot the Powah.

Santiago is correct, start with exhaust and weight reduction. I would go intake next then upgrade ignition.

Hah, you're both wrong. The best upgrade for an rx7 is a full tune-up. You can't say 90% of our cars don't need that

Pfft, it increases power and engine life, what more can an upgrade do for you?
