Thumbs up What's the 12mm sensor plug to the LEFT of the oil press. sensor/sender?

It's also above the rear irons coolant outlet nipple...?

I need to know if it's a necessary component, because the plug/clip shattered so I have no way to (easily) connect the wire to IT.

Thanks guys,

That's the coolant temp sensor for your coolant gauge in your dash. No effect on how the engine runs.

Perfect answer... lol.

I suppose it's still a necessity though, since that's my only form of "monitoring"...

Ahh, I guess I'll try and 'ghetto-rig' some type of plug/connector to slide over it's 'pin'...

Maybe I'll coil the wire around it and electrical tape it... haha J/K (kinda').

Thank you people!

Typically, they are a standard bullet connector. Just buy a bullet connector, crimp it on, and throw some heat shrink tubing over it. $2

Thank you scathcart, useful information once again. I'll look into it tomorrow.
