today i was driving in fourth gear at 40 mph then i dropped to 2nd and the car started sputtering just like it was out of gas. and my gauge said that i was low on gas, but when i filled up it kept sputtering. it feels just like when the car is running out of gas and i dont know what it is. and my air intake system is fully intact so i know its not that. it doesnt do it constantly but several times a minute. and there is a clicking noise in the dash now.

 

i sometimes have that clicking noise in my dash and wondered myself what it was...

 

Only thing I can think of is give your fuel injectors some luvin. If air ain't the problem then go through your coils plugs and fuel injection system. I'm no professional but that's all I can think of.
