Serious Problems...Need help

ok, i have an 89 Turbo 2 and my car started acting really strange and i cant figure out what is wrong with it. I can't seem to give the car much gas, if i do, say 1/4 throttle or more and the car dies. no power at all. It gets louder and sounds really restircted. Basiclly it seems like something is really wrong. It seems to be getting enough gas. Not so sure on spark though. Possibly something else. Any help would be great.

Check fuel filter. Plus all the other little things, like loose wires, hoses, etc.

I agree with swoop go through plugs coils things like that. If they aren't puttin in enough spark then pressing down on the accelerator will just flood the engine causing it to die. But that's my 2 cents
