Hey guys, I have still not found the problem with my car, I still have the same issues as my first post, but since then have installed a new fuel pump and filter. That didn't seem to do diddily... Should I check the TPS next? or what? and has anybody here ever had the exact same problem as me? I would really appreciate ANY help you guys could give me, I'm thinking about giving up on white trash Jr, cause I just don't have the money to keep this guess and check stuff up...

Set the TPS. NOW.

There is something wrong with your secondary injectors. Either the injectors themselves are clogged/damaged or they are not getting their signals to fire. Check the FSM for testing procedures.

Also, have you done a recent compression test on the motor?

I am sure that you are right about the secondary injectors, but even before they would kick in I'm having problems. I will set the TPS tomorrow, probably using the multimeter method, is that the best one? Also, I have not done a compression test, but right before I started having these issues, the engine was pulling VERY strong, so I do not think that the engine is dead, I'm thinking that it is an electrical problem that is fuel related... I'm also going to check the ecu tomorrow, does anybody think that the ecu's crappy grounds could be causing these problems, or is that unlikley?

::sigh:: I couldn't ever find the problem, so I broke down and sent my car to d&r servicenter, in kensington, MD. I have a friend who had a 7 and they did good work on his, so hopefully they will find the problem. I'll update you guys, but I have a bad feeling about this... 206k miles is a LOT, even for a n/a...

i think i have a very similar problem with my 91 na...except mine happens even without the load... most of the time...i had code readouts on it and all except one had to do with either the o2 sensor or afm...that was the oil metering pump....i wonder what happens if that piece goes bad...anyone know?...project84 already mentioned it being bad but would that being bad be able to do this?

lol, hey guys, i was kinda surprised to see this thread pop up again. Well, basically the calipers were catching harder than i thought, and it was almost as if I were doing a burnout everywhere I went. Oh, and the secondaries aren't firing. Hopefull it'll be fixed in a week or two :-D

[i]The cars transmission is very loose, and will grind downshifting into third (but I haven't gone past 3rd gear anyway since I've been having problems) [/B]
That could a problem in of itself.
