What to wrap harness with???

I am rewiring most of my engine harness and have to rewrap it.

I'm wondering what I should use!

It has to withstand heat pretty well and stick.

I've already wrapping soldered points with electrical tape and then shrink tubing them.

Any thoughts? Electrical tape woudn't work because it is thin and won't stick well.

hehe I'm at work!

Anyways. The Banzi stuff is $26 bux. Anything cheaper?

I was almost thinking of the stuff they use to wrap hockey stick grips with but I don't know. Maybe I'll check home Depot out for some high temp wrapping stuff.

That wrap is impressive! Even though it's a lot of money, there is many uses for it. I might have to pick some of that up...

I rewrapped (sorry Aaron ), my Microtech LT8 Harness with 3M Electrical Vinyl Tape. This stuff Is very sticky and has a greater resistance to heat than conventional tape.

As for the Front Engine Harness, I don't worry about that to much. It's brand new and not crunchy like the others. I do plan on removing It and relooming It to rid have of the wiring anyway due to alot of parts removed to begin with. I don't know when though.

The problem with electrical tape is over time the adhesive gets slimey and gooey and runs all over the place. The Silicone wrap I sell uses NO adhesive and is self fusing.
