What Would Youuu Do With 4.5 To 5k And Turbo Body To Do It To???

make the car fast before you make it look good. It will help if you get your *** handed to you and it makes you wish you did the go fast stuff first. Not to mention spanking the new shinny car next to you with a 3 different color FC is really cool.

4.5-5k not gonna get you very far. Drop in a j-spec and get some shocks/springs/bushing kit/sway bars/shock tower bars and some tires and go racing.
If you wanna drag I'd drop in a LS1 from a wrecked Camaro along with the T6 tranny.

engine managment system..haltech, wolf, microtech....u get the idea
also..dont think he can do the rtek1.7 considering hes got a s5.....i'd probably do engine(~2200), FMIC(<1500), safc(400), exhaust(800), FCD(~100)

get engine management first. And don't fall for that Jspec with 35k on it. You are buying a motor out of a junkyard in Japan. A few people have got good running jspecs but you can talk to a few more people who didn't. If you are getting a jspec use it as a core and have a serious race motor built.

So you guys think that getting a used jspec is a bad idea?
what are the chances of it being a bad engine???
I was hoping it would run good with a front mount intercooler, downpipe, bigger wires, BOV and thats it until my other engine is ready an done. Which im estimating will take about 8 months to a year with everything im going to do it

Getting the engine to work and match that body kit you want is going to cost a lot more then you think.

yeah I know, I see my project coming out to about 8k if I want to get everything the way I want it, and thats only for now.
Im really debating about getting the used jspec now though. Dont wanna feel like an *** when the engine blows shortly after i put it in.
What should compression numbers read for a healthy jspec to last me longer than a year with the little bit of work done to it.
