what would you guys pay for this
hi this is a v8 rx7 and i was interested on what you guys on here would give for a car like this. I am not selling it just to make that clear dont mind the for sale sign at all i am just wondering what you guys would give for it. it has less then 2000 miles on v8 engine and nothing is wrong with the car.

For me, that is just a parts car. Too much work to fix... so maybe $500 (and that would be pushing it).
But I am sure that some boy racer would like it, and be fooled into paying more.

Honestly, I would value it between $1500 and $2000. It's a fast car that appears to be in excellent condition (which is why I would go up to 2000) but everything done to it to make it further and further away from stock takes the value way down.
That being said, I'd change the visuals a bit but I wouldn't mind having that car myself. Heh.

Holy crap, you guys are fanboys. Give him a realistic response.
I wouldn't give you a ton of money for that thing, maybe 3-5k, depending on how the motor is built, what tranny you have, etc. Also, I'm not a fan of the cosmetic work that's been done. I'm sure someone would buy it, but for how much I don't know.

The car in the pictures has been butchered up (just look at the dash and front bumper shots) and has an unreliable piston engine in it... that is why it is worth so little to me.

It depends on who wants it. I know he could get 5k for it if it was done right and everything is ok. I'd sell you mine without the suspension thats on it and the wheels for 3k. Runs low 13's but the engine is pretty much stock. Does come with a fuel injection kit and isn't all rice'd out.

i understand your point of view icemark but i mean all depends on how rotarys and pistons are compared if you have a rotary engined that hasnt been taken care of of course its going to act like a piece of **** with you all depends really now about the dash and front being butchered up yes 100% agree with you looks massively rice... but still theres just people out there that discrace others for them liking a car a certain way thats all im saying

Honestly, and this is my opinion, I think V8 RX7s are ******* hot. One thing I'd never do is buy a used or new car before test driving it, but if that car drives and is as reliable as it looks, I'd pay 4k.

The car is worth **** 2 me, cuzz it gots a v8 in dere. Leave the v8s for the domestics. RX-7 is special for a reason and thats the Rotary engine that no other car has. I don't care if the car hits 10s. I rather have that **** out. Also the 13bt has hit 9s before on fullybuilt motor.

why dont you guys want torque? i mean if i had an extra northstar, i think i'd try to plop it into my x7 and have a beautiful little 7 thats a sleeper too.
but IMHO i really love v-8s their sound and my Northstars reliabilty, some V8s just wont last but my northstar has the same miles as my x7 and its NOT in the garage
i would probably pay anywhere between 2-5k depending on engine setup, and interior then i would subtract all the money it would take me to de-rice it

sub has weight, and all turbos have a 4.10 rear, the hot item with 7's is a 4.30 rear end. Automatic.........ooooooooooooooooohhhhhh low gear ratios, and no clutch, boring.
