What would you do with 7k???

Including the cost of a decent TII (3500) so that leaves you with $3500, what would you spend it on??

I'd drop a grand on a nice JDM exhaust and downpipe, replace the suspension (especially if it has AAS) with a set of ride-adjustable coilovers, and then spend the rest on whatever engine mods I could afford. However I wouldn't get a new turbo till the engine is rebuilt with 3mm seals and such.

I would go with a rebuild of its still the orginal engine.. rebuilt with street port, FMIC, and rebuilt turbo and ported wastegate. S-afc, FCD, upgraded fuel system. If you still have money left over, Racing beat down-pipe and exhuast.

with 3500 bux on my TII ( 18000 miles on rebuild) 1st....I'd finish putting motor tranny and rear end into the GTUs.....then turbo upgrade.....Fuel system upgrade(lines, injectors, pump,Fuel pressure regulator, etc.).......then I'd save the rest for a FMIC

Suspension, then fuel system, then engine, then body. In that order

3500 for the T2 plus 3500 for upgrades...that is like 300hp? I would spend the 7 grand on a stock FD.

hahahah I would love to see what kind of FD you could get for 7 grand

Once you buy the car spend the rest of the money getting the car back into good running condition. Change all the fluids, probably pads and rotors, fuel filter, etc....

After the car is back into perfect original shape I'd start with suspension. KYB AGX with your choice or springs, and some RB sway bars. Oh yeah, get some decent tires: azenis, s03's, etc... Next I could go with a walbro fuel pump, 850cc secondaries, some kind of ebc and a microtech/wold/haltech. You can go with a safc, but like everyone else you're going to want more power and the stock ecu sucks. I'd finish it up with a front mount, and a series 5 t04b hybrid turbo.

You have a car that can put down 300 rwhp+, handles great, and will start every day.

If you can find me a FD that runs good for $7000 ill buy it . I'd do what gsracer said, but make sure it runs perfect before you mod! It sucks to mod a fucked up car, it will just get more fucked up more . BTW from your name Id say you owned a talon, well I've owned a DSM (93 talon tsi AWD) and an FC (87 GXL) and the FC was much more reliable and fun (even tho my DSM was turbo and the FC wasn't). I wrecked the FC. But Im getting a TurboII in the spring! Anyway welcome to the club!
