What condition is the 88GXL in?
What kind of truck is it?
What condition is the TII in?
What do you want? A Turbo RX-7, a non turbo RX-7, or a truck?

the GXL is in fair contion needs motor has a small rust spot on the front right fender but have another one to put on it from the 88. has a small dent in back left cortor panel a crack in rear bumber and front. other than that there is not body damage and only 2 places that the clear coat is peeling. the intior is in good contion save for the plastic vents and radio cover. the TII is "in perficet contion) I have not seen it but my father has.
the truck is a 88 S15 4X4 with new tires needs carb (have 5 of them hehe) and some body rust but a truck is for work not fun.
I want a RX7 and a truck Truck for winter and 7 for spring/summer/fall. a t II would be nice but ether is good.
thanks for the input.

I voted TII, but you have alot of things to consider.....What do you need? daily commuter? work truck? leisure car? take every car.....make a list of pros and Cons then make you decision...as a TII owner i can tell you it is fun and you will never get tired of it.

Mage, I'm sorry about your car, knowing you tried saving her but at least there's a definite answer. As far as the poll, I'd say buy the T2, if you really want to stay with a RX7 and faster car, though your needs may depend on various factors. Now, if the '88 is already yours then obviously swapping motors could be the better option and apply savings toward a T2 purchase later on. Whatever your decision, good luck.. hope you'll stick around

Well I desided Base one 2 things to drop the engine from the 88 in to the 87 the reasions are:
1.) will not get 1500 out of both sold together and dont have 2500 so buy TII
2.) Father said so :P
So any advice about what I should do wail the engine is out do I need to change anything? There both GXL's I have everything from both also any good write ups?
Off to do a serach
Thanks for everything
