ok guys reguardless of series
if the car is at idle and you floor it it will bog and almost stall then slowly pickup rpm. It also seems to rev slightly slower than normal. It doesnt have a high idle or any starting issues either.
any thoughts?

Also, Does the throttle body have the second set of butterfly plates removed? If so, that could cause it to run very lean for a moment if you floor the gas pedal.

I had a bad MSD ignition and basically killed my leading coil. Car would run alright at less than 1/4 throttle but bogged terribly at anything over. Unplug the leading plug wires and see if it makes a difference.

Could also be worn plug wires arcing instead of firing spark plugs. Or bad plugs.

You need the leading plugs... It's the trailing you can run without.

But with trailing coil disconnected you get no tach.
