i know your not supposed to mix a ring and pinion gear and they come as match set> but what would happen if i do? i know an auto rear end is 3.9 with a 43 tooth ring gear and a manual is 4.1 im guessing the ring gear is 41 and the pinion 10 this would make the 4.1. if im correct on the gears for a manual then i could make a 4.3 by mixing the auto ring gear and manual pinion. im just wondering what would happen if i mixed them up instead of buying a match set thats 4.3
