what would happen if i did this?

I took the intake system all the way to the TB off. sprayed some carb cleaner on the butterfly valves and cleaned them(they were black at the bottom). then started the car. Now shes sat for 10 days and HOLY HELL!, there was so much white stinky smoke that came out it looked like the garage was on fire. but the car held a very rough idle that sounded like a drag nitro car.

it was kinda cool. now my question is,
what would she run like if i drove her around the block like this? ya know NO INTAKE what so ever. would i screw something up?would i see all this crazy horsepower?. oh yeah one more question;
am i supposed to spay into the TB WD40 when im putting the intake together. some people say yes because it lubes the butterflies. some say no.

If you don't have the air flow meter plugged in to sense the amount of air going through, then the ECU won't schedule the right amount of fuel to the injectors. If you do have it plugged in but the air pipe doesn't connect it to the TB, then the flapper door on the AFM will be closed, so either way it will run like a bag of hammers. Plus you should have a filter hooked up so you don't go sucking up rocks or little children while you ride around the block.

oh i see. i think in going to wire the air sensor into the cabin. mount it in a cup holder and have the passenger work it by hand while i drive so we can feel like a real race team! ha ha .

I'm suprised the car even runs without it! I thought it was supposed to just start, and then die. at least that's what mine does

What the hell are you trying to achieve? This sounds like complete nonsense.
