What is a wideband O2 sensor?

Does this have anything to do with dynoing? Can you tune your car on the road with this? Thanks

Expensive. From what I understand it provides more accurate readings, and is usually paired with some sort of high tech air/fuel meter. Yes, it is used for tuning, and I can't see why it wouldn't work on a dyno or on the road.

it's a 5 wire 02 sensor matched with it's own gauge. they run around $1000 and the sensors don't last too long. they can be used on the street or dyno. they are basicly mandatory for good tuning. you stick it in while tuning then remove when you are done.
