What is this white stuff on my exhaust ports?
The whiter the deposit, the leaner the engine runs. Tan color deposits indicate normal running conditions. All black is way rich...solid white (more so than pictured) is way too lean. I would consider that normal, but I'd still be careful what I did with it.

its lean. that white stuff is Ash deposits. it was really hot there, but since you still have normal looking carbon, it was running fine, a TAD on the lean side, but that means you were makin more power than if your ports were ALL black.
you should put an exhaust on it like Jesse James did on the wheelie Ambulence: zoomie pipes straight out the side of teh body!
