i think white means running lean... if i remmeber properly... but i think that was for sparkplugs... so im not sure for the exaust, but id imagine it would be similar

I had the same crap on the exhuast side of my turbo, and on the wastegat flap.

The whiter the deposit, the leaner the engine runs. Tan color deposits indicate normal running conditions. All black is way rich...solid white (more so than pictured) is way too lean. I would consider that normal, but I'd still be careful what I did with it.

One of your rotors is running leaner than the other. Have your injectors cleaned and balanced. As well... ensure that the compression is perfect.

its lean. that white stuff is Ash deposits. it was really hot there, but since you still have normal looking carbon, it was running fine, a TAD on the lean side, but that means you were makin more power than if your ports were ALL black.

you should put an exhaust on it like Jesse James did on the wheelie Ambulence: zoomie pipes straight out the side of teh body!

haha, thxs guys. I was fearing worse, coolant burning... I believe the my turbo is bad, its leaking a lot of oil.

burning coolant would leave everything ultra clean... like steam cleaned. yours is fine. where is yoru turbo leaking oil from?
