what to use for an exhaust leak?

i have a small opening in one of my pipes that i noticed, it smokes kinda bad. i was wondering if i can use some JB weld to seal it up? or something that bonds to metal, suggestions anyone?

just take it to a muffler shop and have the hole welded shut...a whole 5 bucks worth of work...

i cant really drive the car legally on the streets, the car isnt even smogged or registered so a temporary fix will do. i need something that bonds to metal and can withstand high heat temps. the only time i drive it is at midnight around the block in my quiet little neighborhood. =)

you could try some liquid metal. it just needs some time to get hard. u could try that it is fairly cheap, but i dont know where to get i though. my friend used it on his 88 300zx and i think it worked.
