what trans and diff oil?

search but it didnt state for lsd or none lsd. car is 90 gxl, 5sp, none lsd, daily driver.

does redline make a noticeable difference? or can i go with something else that can be found at the local stores? what?

it seems i can only order redline online. where do you guys but it at?

also whats the best oil for the trans? mt90, mtl, mt90ns? what about the diff? 75w40 or 75w40ns?

EDIT: should i get any additives for the trans and diff also?

redline claims they sell at advanced and autozone but they are never in stock even on the website

I'd just use synlubes

and with free shipping you can't beat that

For Redline fluids: MT90 in the tranny and 70W90 for the diff. I've also read that you should only use GL-4, not GL-5, because of an additive in GL-5 eats parts of the tranny.

I'm using MT90 and it's good stiff.

Rearend can use ANY 90wt GL5 gear oil. Stick with any of the name brand synthetics.

You should use a synchro safe gear oil in the manual tranny. Stick with any of the dual rated gl4/gl5 gear oils or a gl4-only gear oil.

If redline is your choice, IMO, use the MT90(preferred) or 75w90NS in the transmission, and use the 75w90(preferred) or 75w90NS in the rearend.

Don't use ANY additives in the manual transmission.

If the rearend is chattery/binding/noisey because of an LSD, use an LSD additive. If not or you don't have LSD, don't worry about it 'cause it doesn't make a difference.
