What is TII suspension supposed to feel like?

My suspension has been really harsh lately.
What is the stock TII suspension like for all you TII owners out there? I mean is it supposed to be really stiff and rather harsh? Or not
Im just wondering if perhaps one of my suspension parts is wearing like the struts and/or the upper mounts.
Ive heard a large banging sound comming from my rear suspension more than once while cornering hard. That got me kind of worried. I need it to be mint because im thinking of taking my car to the autocross

Tight. Stiff. Much stiffer than my old NA I find. Much less body roll too.

Maybe it's my 17's with 40 series tires?

Worn struts will make the suspension feel much harsher as the springs have to do all the work.

Mine feels tight and firm but not rough

WHen I go over uneven pavement like crappy roads in neighborhoods you def feel the bumps but I would just call it firm and you fee everything...

Thats one handling characteristic I like is that you feel everything.. whether its the back end slip out a bit...... you just feel connected to the road...

mine feels soft, even with new koni shocks that made it a little stiffer... not soft like a family car, but still fairly soft. a little harsh over sharp edged bumps.

Stiff - That's not stiff.

Stiff is when you can drive over a check and tell if the signature is forged.
