What temperature should I set my coolant warning buzzer?
I tapped behind the water pump to install a coolant sensor.
what temperature should i set up my warning buzzer?
I have a n/a 1991 manual transmission. Its stock and still has the stock metal radiator.

Look for more info on the electric fan writeups. I am not sure in what position the sensor(s) were in but before the thermostat. I thought I remember seeing about 180 degrees being mentioned at one position or another but please don't trust that info. Hopefully somebody remembers or can confirm.

so the point at which you're doing damage is about 110c, so i would set the alarm at maybe 100? 105?

@j9fd3s thank you. So 100c is 212°f. Maybe ill put my warning at 210°f. I read the danger zone is 104.44c which is 220c.
then 250f is concidered damage. Do this number sound correct?
