what substance(s) could "free" up seals with carbon deposits

ive heard alot of ideas including, atf, powersteering fluid, all the way down 2 151 or jim beam.

some how i just dont buy the store bought liquor idea.

ive also wondered, wouldent the "freed" up carbon chunks do more damage 2 the apex seals, or worse the housings.

is there a method that works to loosen up seals in a motor that hasent ran in awhile, and if needed a way 2 "flush" out the carbon that was loosened up with out damage 2 the seals. also a way 2 do this without block dissassembley?

hell ya my vert sat for 6 months , 1 day i go to start turnd over once then would go no more wen i turnd the key lights just went dim and nothing happen, put some of that seafoam in the big hose that goes to smog pump and let it sit for 3 days and still nothing

Waited 2 weeks then tried to start her and she was cranking over but no start, kept at it and after 5 -10 min of trying to start her she fired up , so much smoke was coming out of the mufflers, she was in a car port at the time so i thought after 5 min or so it would clear up.

Came out side 5 min later and couldnt see my car so much smoke, I didnt want the neighbors to call fire depo so i held my breath, shut my eyes ran in there and felt for the door opend her up and drove her outside, (it was intense smoke)

No joke she continued to slowly still smoke even after 15 min of idleling, took her for a quick spin heavy throttle and stopd smoking all together.
