Question what spark plugs to use?

I just got a msd 6a for my 87 n/a. I searched and found that msd and other will burn up standard plugs. Also to use Iridium plugs. I went and got MSD 8.5mm plugs but dont know which plugs to use. What are some good plugs to use with a msd6a setup? Does NGK make any plugs that would be good to use with MSD. Thanks

Nah, those are pretty much the standard RX-7 plugs. I usually pay about $3-$5/ea, depending on where I get them. They'll take a lot of abuse.

And less conductivity. Stock NGK plugs are best for mildly modded or moderately modded cars.

Did my sparkplugs this weekend... cost me $22.00 at Advance Auto Parts for all 4 NGK plugs. My other plugs were carbonized pretty badly. I wouldn't pay extra for any of the "special plugs" unless someone can tell you that it's worth it. In a TII, I'll be changing the plugs every 10K miles or so, so going with expensive spark plugs isn't a reasonable option for me.

Sheesh, in Canada they usually charge $20 a piece for the stock plugs!

You guys down south have it good!

Yea, but that's CAN$20... so, about $0.50 US?

If it's that bad, I'm sure you could PayPal some money to one of us in the US and get plugs shipped your way cheaper than you can buy them.

Those where the Laser Iridium RX-8 plugs, I believe. RE7A-L/RE9B-T

I'm running NGK Iridium IX, 8's and 9's in my TII. Its a gappable plug. Half the price of the stock plugs in Canada, and better to boot, eh.
