what spark plugs for mildly modified car?

i've been running stock NGK plugs since i got my car, but i've been hearing alot of talk of modd'ed cars running all 9's or all 7's, should i stick to stock or would running all 9's or 7's help me out performance or spark plug longevity wise?

I run BUR7EQP & BUR9EQP (platinum).

(Works good, lasts a long time)

Advance Auto Parts has the best price I've seen.
