What Spark Plugs do you guys run?

Time for some new plugs on my car. This will be the first time i've changed the plugs on my car, looks like the old ones were NGK, but i'm not sure what model NGK'S they were. What do you guys run? And will it be neccessary to change my wires aswell?

Thanx for responding!

i run all leading plugs on mine.

dont buy into the hype of ultra-priced plugs...they wont make a difference. regular oem replacements will do.

what plugs

I use NGK racing plugs the heat range is 11.... but you have to give your car serious hammer to keep em clean!
so if ya cars used day to day I would go with standard spec.

all leading just makes it easier not to mix anything up...although i dont know if mixing up the plugs does anything bad.

all leading, no problems running at all.

I've also always wondered what's the dif between the leading and trailing plugs. I know it's in my head somewhere (I read it before), but it'd be nice to get a refresher.

Who in the Hell is paying $10+ per plug for BUR9(7)EQPs? Half that is about right.

BTW, I think that's a lot of hooey about the platinum plugs. I'd like to see some backup info. on that.

Rotaries eat steel plugs in 10-15000 miles.
The platinum tips do not burn off nearly as fast as steel.
In piston engines they go about 100000 miles.
In rotaries, about 50000.

I change my plugs every 3 oil changes or so anyway. So they don't need to last that long.
