What size wrap....?

I'm gonna wrap my downpipe with some DEI wrap. What size should I get? My local speed shop has the 1" & 2" rolls.
Can I use some hose clamps instead of those stainless tie wrap$?
Is that teflon paint sealer worth it?

I used 2" on my header, but it got a bit tricky around some of the bends. I think the thin sizes just make wrapping intricate pipes easier. You can use hose clamps, and I don't have experience with teflon sealers, but sealing's cheap enough that theres no reason not to. For reference, I used Thermo-Tec copper wrap and sealer.

But he has a dp, not a header, so there is only 1 pipe to worry about and no "intricate" bends. I think 2" would be just fine.

2" is fine. I use hose clamps or staineless wire to secure the wrap. If you are doing the turbo and manifold, then 1" makes it a lot easier.
