What size muffler to purchase?
Anyone have any experience in building their own exhaust? I already sold my old one and should have measured, but I need to know what size muffler will fit under an FC. i'm looking for the optimal length and diameter of the can. I'm looking at the Borla XR1 series, round 5" diameter and 15" long. You think this will fit fine?

BTW, I searched and could not find this information in the forum. Everyone is talking about inlet and outlet size, pipe diameter, this and that, but not acutal can size.

Maybe this will help. I was looking at the same mufflers but I'm leaning toward the www.magnaflow.com mufflers now. They have more sizes to choose from.
