what should i do?
what should i do?
out of all the stupid things ive done this is at the top of the list, my motor just passed emissions on the first try and is running perfect.
i tried tapping the original pressure sensor hole, to install the prosport pressure sensor.
you dont really have to guess, the tap snapped and there is nothing left to grab onto...
should i just jb weld the tap in place and getting their oil filter neck accessory?

So...your saying you tapped the hole, broke the tap, and now have oil shavings in your oil?
I would think that sealing up the tap and going to a new location would be best. That's what I did when I snapped my aftermarket oil temp sensor.

your not going to drill through a tap dude, yep sand it around the edges and use jb weld or quick steel to seal it up. you should have just got a rb adapter like i did. Why try to chase out new threads into the housing in the first place??? you know the shavings are going to drop inside potentially restricing oil flow. HOpe you didnt mess it up to much and the jb works. hopefully still have stock motor mounts too.
the oil filter will grab any tiny shavings, im going to dremel a slot into the tap and try a screw driver. if that doesent work im going to grind it away with a tungsten bit and re tap it for a bigger bolt. i dont want to use jb weld, if everything fails ill weld it shut.

The oil pump! then once that is done the rest of the engine will follow!
Taps are VERY brittle, you MIGHT be able to break the tap, I have done it on a few occasions, take a center punch, and hit it around the edges, and you might be able to remove it.
