I just want to make sure which sensor this is... its in that channel that comes from the top of the radiator in the yellow circle (it goes into the back)

If it's not the water thermo sensor, which would be further down than the area you have circled, it might be the temp sensor for the factory e-fan...

 

doh!! yeah it is a little bit lower than that now that I looked at the picture.

I was guessing it was the water thermo sensor, I just wanted to make sure before ordering one.

 

The photo's too small to see exactly what you've circled, but if it's the one on the thermostat cover it's the electric fan thermoswitch, and if it's the one on the back of the water pump just under the thermostat it's the ECU's thermosensor.
