What SAFC For My TII?

Ok, not exactly sure what forum this should go in, so I decided to relate it to my FC for good measure. Anyways, I know there are a few different versions of A'pexi's S-AFC, but what are the differences between them, and which one would be sufficient for dyno tuning with this setup?:

- A'pexi Intake
- Racing Beat Full Turbo Exhaust
- Walbro 255
- (Maybe TID Mod)

I'm looking on ebay and a few online sites and not finding many of the differences, and which ones will even matter when tuning. Which one is the best one currently out and how much can it be bought for?

either of the ones with the blue screens are fine.

the S-afc is older. been out for a few years and will be cheaper. probably find it for under $200 now. most people use this one.

the S-afc II has only been out for maybe 6 months. has a few more features. but will also cost alot more.

stay away from any that don't have a blue screen.

If you type "SAFC" in ebay and search, you should see a few brand new in box SAFC2s for around $280 buy it now. You could spend around $200 for a used SAFC (older edition) but I think it's worth the extra $80 to get the newer one thats brand new. What exactly are you asking when you list those four mods? Are those things you already have on the car? What mods are on the car right now? If you have increased boost then bigger secondary injectors (720s would be plenty) along with a walbro pump and SAFC2 would let you be ahead of the game as far as fuel support. But if the car is stock then putting on a new exhaust/intake/FCD (fuel cut defenser) would be a good place to start along wiht the SAFC2.

nope.
Just knowledge of what wire is what at the ecu plugs.

A FSM makes short work of it.

I am planning on a SAFCII because it has a few more features.

I'm not positive but It has more RPM adjustment points.

It can also help the open atmosphere BOV idle problem from what it said.(Not sure is SAFC does it too)

I am going to have all 550's but plan on 720's if my af is bad.

I'm hoping with a Walbro I can tune it atleast some what good.

I just remembered the whole FCD thing and got myself confused, lol. Anyways, with the FCD, it basically tells the car that its not boosting that high, so therefore gives it less gas than it should be running at above fuel cut? Now i've asked before if that was a problem, and it was determined that it wasn't, but will the SAFC play any part in fuel cut? If I get a SAFC, will I still need the FCD, and will they mess with each other in any way?
