lol- another guy from oly- welcome! ya- the vin and title dont always match up.. my title says my car is and '87, but my vin says the car was from august of '85 (still a 2nd gen.. just late year model).

 

That was my problem as well.........

I have a sunroof, no spoiler, 4 lug, manual,.........and car fax didnt mention it.....hmmm

 

It looks like it's a GXL. definately a FC3S (FC) and if it's an '87 then it's an S4. To know for sure I'd check the FC options sticky here:

compare what options you have to what is in the list here. If you have the Electronic Suspension, You have a GXL. It's the only model that had it in '87.

 

those are s4 mirrors.....the mirrors your referring to are probubly the s4 t2/gtu mirrors......

 

front bumpers are also different... and if you look on the side door pannel, the dates of which it was made are different...

 

I think from what u all have told me it is an 87 RX7 S4 fc with the luxury package it's almost the same as the base model for all the optional parts and parts standard but the one thing that the chart some of u posted shows tha the luxury package comes with the power tilt\slide sunroof thanks for all your help very much!
