Oil pressure question

I recentley changed both my power and grounds from battery to starter, block, etc. and now when the ignition is on or the car is started the oil pressure gauge is all the way up (doesnt budge). Ive checked over all my wiring there isnt that much to it eveything looks ok and connected. Any advice

when this is happening somewhere along the line the wire to the sender is shorted to ground... double check making sure the wire is conected properly

The wire to the oil pressure gauge has two terminations in the engine bay. One termination is at the pressure sensor itself. The other termination is at a connector for a capacitor. The capacitor is black in color, square in shape and has a hole in it for attaching to a bolt on or near the clutch slave cylinder. I suspect you have SUCCESSFULLY grounded this wire.
