What psi should my oil pressure be at?

I am wondering where my oil pressure psi should be at? I am usually around 35 but it goes up to 55-60 when I step hard on it? Is this ok? Thanks and sorry for the dumb question!!!

Here's what Mazda says about that, 64-78 psi at 3K rpm. When warmed up, my '90 GTU ran around 65 psi at or above 3K rpm, and my '91 Turbo runs around 60 psi. So, if your engine runs around 60 PSI, it should be fine. Keep in mind that Mazda is using a special tool to measure the pressure which is probably more accurate than the sender/gauge in the car.
