what pins are the bac on the ecu

what pins are the bac on the ecu because my budy installed his engine on his s4 turbo ..some where along the line the wires got damaged ....a pic and a diagram would realy help he has an 332 ecu all stock ...he does not no what wire to make the splice ,or what color wire hes looking for ....please help we want to get his car giong for next week end he needs the bac valve

Download a copy of the factory service manual from one of the links in the FAQ. It's free and it has the details on ECU pinout.

downloaded it ..just cant make sense of it ....i dont know if pin 2q i can run a wire to the plug ...then the other wire where do i run that from ....is 2q a hot wire

The BLACK/WHITE wire on all the solenoids is power. The Blue/Green on the BAC is a pulsed ground signal from the ECU.

theres 3 plugs on the ecu which plug has the blue and green wire....the black and white wire is a regular 12v wire ? where do you get that supply from .....because we have nothing to go by its just missing

The fuse is the EGI COMP fuse in the engine bay and it's fed by the MAIN RELAY as shown in the jpg attached. If the engine runs you KNOW the fuse is good and KNOW the MAIN RELAY is good, so your open wire is ??? who knows where. All the solenoids in the jpg have the same B/W wire fed from the same source.

Location of 2Q is shown in the jpg.

hailers you are such a great help on this forum thanks so much....ill run a wire from 2q to the plug and ill run a ground wire to the plug ...should that do the trick?
