What part of your car do you hate working on the most?
What part of your car drives you nuts? For me it's the exhaust system. For one thing, I hate being on my back with dirt dropping into my eyes trying to get a seized bolt loose on the downpipe, only to break the stud or have the socket wrench come loose and bashing your knuckles against something sharp and unfun. It also sucks that all the bolts underneath the car are usually tight as **** and to get them off requires muscles that you neglected whilst in the gym.

One day I'll save up for a lift. That would somewhat ease my paranoia.
Man i agree with the undercar paranoiya(sp) but i have ben fooling around with wiring harnesses latley. Talk about some stuff that can sometimes make no sence try pulling and putting the dash back and fourth a few times in a day. BTW dont ask why

Sometimes it slides right in, which is a good description as when that happens it's almost as good as sex.
But, most times, holding that heaving tranny with two hands shaking and pushing to get that last two inch's in can be a MAJOR challenge. Hmmm, reminds me of the first sentence.

Yes! I also hate it! Not so much about the paranoia of the car falling... i'm not worried at all. It's just that the bolts underneath are always damn tight and you dont' have room to get some good strength on the wrench. Whenver u turn a bolt or bump something dirt and **** falls on your face and in your eyes. Under car work is comparable to Sour-Kraut uahfaeafladfuckafd!

My girl has a '97 grand (pos) am I can't even capitalize it.
it took me 2 hours to change the plugs cuz they bury them between the firewall and under the intake/fuel injection unit
In my rex I ve done the trany the exhaust the water pump it is paradise compared to a SAAB 900 were you need to drop the whole suspension. TO DO THE WORTHLESS TRANY.
SO DO IT ALL WITH LOVE BECAUSE THIS CAR AS OPPOSED TO OTHERS IS A WALK IN THE PARK!!!!!!!
AND A BLAST TO DRIVE

For me, I haven't done it yet, but i'm not exactly looking forward to, is the turbo. 86K on the stock turbo, i'm thinking i'm gonna get an upgraded compressor before it fries itself out, and at the same time bolt on a new exhaust. yippee.

To answer the question, the F#*@! logicon pissed me off the most.
For the most part I think the RX-7 is the easiest car I have ever worked on. I do hate being under I use ramps and jacks just to be extra safe, and dash work suck royal. But compared to working on my VW Passat VR6 that needs that engine lifted to do just about anything my 7 is a dream.
Removing interior panels w/o breaking them, adn then the damn exhaust. I hate those damn dount hangers on the exhaust. When I replaced all of them, it made the exhaust quit squeaking, but it took me all day long...
