Question what is this part and where does it go?

im swaping a S5 TII motor into my S4TII and im useing all the S4 externals..i cant seem to find where this part goes. is it maybe just for a S4 motor?

that sir is a knock sensor, it goes in a threaded hole above your spark plugs

do i need it if i have a microtech? does it plug into the factory engine harness or to the chassis harness?

Factory harness on t2 harnesses. If your using microtech, if it has a knock input then you can use it. You just might have to calibrate it. And spot skater, what do you mean?

i dont think the microtech uses a knock sensor but im not sure

well on the S5 motor it has 1 hole in each rotor housing for a knock sensor.. i only have one and it looks like its just a dead end hole to me sio i shouldnt have to screw anything in to block it off right?
